Seven by Four

• 52 physical cards. Columns begin with 8, 8, 8, 7, 7, 7, 7 cards. There are 4 single-card cells; 0 start occupied.
• Build down by alternating colour, without rank wrapping. Only descending alternating-colour sequences move together.
• Any exposed card or legal group can fill an empty column.
• Cells hold one exposed card each. A group uses at most (empty cells + 1) × 2 for each auxiliary empty column; exclude the destination.
• No stock or redeal.
• Build 4 suit foundations Ace to King, one card at a time. Select a foundation top with no card selected to return it to a legal column or cell.
